RSS Feeds

I have spent some time learning about this one. I have made a Google reader account and added some blogs and subscriptions - haven't added many though. Couldn't figure out how to add the Choice website!! I had no trouble adding other websites. The easiest way to add feeds, I thought, was to go to your favourite sites and use the RSS button.
I have followed/connected other library blogs through google reader and blogger. Tried quite a few different things, although I messed it up a few times. My blog - I'm even my follower or my own blog. Yep, I'm not too cluey with all this stuff. Just click here and there and see what happens. Yes, I do get frustrated.
I think I have spent long enough on this one now,so will go to the next THING!

7 1/2 Habits

We are to make a comment on which is the easiest and hardest of the 7 1/2 habits.
1. Begin with end in mind. -Thinking about the end is the easy part. If it a is a long process, the starting part is the hardest for me. I'm such a procrastinator!.
2. Accepting responsibility for own learning- Once I have made up my mind to do something, I usually like to see it through.
3. View problems as challenges. I probably don't see it like that, I just still see it as a problem. Once you have over come the problem though, it is a good learning process.
4. Have confidence in yourself as competent effective learner.- Depends what your learning!
5. Create your own learning toolbox - That is some good advice. I could probably take notice here and do this for my library studies.
6.Use technology to your advantage - I like learning new technology and would like to be more savvy but it always takes me longer than I expect.
7. Teach/mentor others - they say by teaching othersyou learn the most.
7 1/2. PLAY- Wow, that's the easiest part.

Most likely, my worst habit about learning is making my mind up I am going to do this and then to start. This could tie in with no 4.- To have enough confidence in oneself.
Once I get rolling, I'm okay.

I like the Nike saying "Just do it"

This is another good saying " A journey first starts with one footstep"

So, I'm on a roll now, so lookout!
